INTroduction

This portfolio reflects the journey I went through in order to create 3 final designs. I began by doing secondary research, creating a visual and written timeline of chairs. To better my understanding I met up with an expert - Alex Law, to discuss the change in trends in chair design and the use of materials. I spent A few days with Alex and did some work with him to fully understand what he was telling me. To start my designs I created initial concept sketches and refined them. I then began making my final three designs.
